[Navin Randhawa](https://blog.unizen.co.uk/author/navin-randhawa) Feb 11, 2026 --- \*Everything is a week away\* - A beautifully cryptic string of words to highlight my recent few weeks of progress. 2026 has started strong. I have made great progress in a lot of key Unizen areas and well as some personal development. My progress across multiple domains seem to share a key principle - focus. Specifically I have been consistently sharpening my ability to focus. As my business and personal life has evolved, I've found that there are a multitude of very worthy items to progress, usually more things than there seems to be hours in the day for (truly a privileged position to be in). Before I can choose to concentrate my focus on the week's agenda, setting the week's agenda is truly key. The first question of every week that I must apply my focus on is: "What serves purpose to the macro goal? How much of that can I do by this time next week?". De-noise the canvas. What really matters? Now I have subsequently a sharper focus on the week's agenda. By the end of the week, does it go to plan? Usually not to the letter. Will there be curveballs? yes, and I look forward to them. Why? Because, it allows me to practice sharpening my focus, sense checking and prioritising the new challenges . As opposed to snapping focus to whatever is placed in view. Both technically are still progressing something, but the former is aligned with my organisations goals. I find myself smiling through the week knowing I'm going in the right direction. That's a win. What will you do by this time next week?
